Cool! The next time I do the laundry, I'll actually try to fold the fitted sheet correctly instead of just wadding it up and throwing it in the closet.

Oh, by the way, :25-:30 gave me a "mother" flashback. My mom would show us how to do something and then, when done, UNDO it so that we could try. Why, lady?! It was done! WHY!?!?!?!?

this is hilarious. I've been doing a half-assed version of this my entire life. The "repeat" part somehow escaped me. Thanks for the tip and for the laugh. The amoeba-like sheet monster kids in the background cracked me up. - Cathy

God Bless You. I have been waiting at least 20 years for someone to show me how to do that. I didn't even know it was possible until I went away to university and a nice woman that washed my new sheets for me while I moved into my apartment gave them back to me folded like this. I was seriously in awe but didn't have the courage to ask her to show me how she had accomplished such a miracle. I can't wait to try it myself!

No no no...all wrong! At step six you roll the sheet. Then you can stack them and it clearly distinguishes them from the flat sheets. Haha. Way to bring out the OCD in me.

That was actually really helpful! And fun to watch. Makes me want to force my video producer friend into creating similar videos as he is also underemployed. Sans the cute kids unfortunately.

My mother taught me how to fold fitted sheets when I was in elementary school. It never seemed hard. I though people were joking about not knowing how when I went away to college. Cute video! Cute kids!

i had to leave a comment since this is so awesome!

first, i am the only one in my house that knows how to fold a fitted sheet- i needed this tutorial for my husband, who will learn from it based on the cuteness of small kids factor and bitchin soundtrack, vs. my own pedagogy which includes a lot of sarcasm and eye rolling over his 1/2assed attempts which result in a big ball of sheet being shoved to the bottom of the laundry basket.

second- was i the only one who had to watch this twice to understand that it is a crib sheet being folded? i was like, how did jim get the final result to be so tiny? i don't get it!

third- good lord your kids are gorgeous. and this coupled with your previous post w/r/t the joys of photoshop in cleaning up pix of your home really let me believe that you do, indeed, have small kids and a dog living in your house, which when usually seen in pictures, is unrealistically spotless!

awesome post. just awesome.
